The BAA token (short for BAA), also known as Banana Coin in Chinese, is issued by the Apollo Foundation of Singapore (referred to as Apollo), which was established in September 2018. The BAA token is applied on Banana Plus (an online cinema, short video platform, live streaming, and marketplace) to create a global decentralized new media platform. The benefits of the platform are shared among users who hold BAA tokens, bringing more applications and incentives to the new media ecosystem. The BAA token team is distributed across Singapore, Canada, and Shenzhen, with core members having extensive experience. They are one of the early technical teams in Singapore that researched blockchain technology. Their founder, Colin, once served as an executive director of the Canadian KTM Hansa listed company.
