CBase is a highly scalable public blockchain that employs a sharding solution. CBases mission is to support all high-growth and high-frequency blockchain applications, building a foundational computing platform capable of supporting consumer-grade internet applications. This typically requires the underlying blockchain architecture to be faster and cheaper, allowing developers to focus on building their products and expanding their user base without worrying about whether scaling their infrastructure is decentralized and secure enough. CBase was primarily designed and developed with scalability, high availability, and developer-friendliness in mind, making it an expandable computing and storage platform. CBase adopts a simpler state sharding approach similar to Ethereum 2.0, Polkadot, and Cosmos. The system currently supports 1,000 shards and thousands of validators. As the number of supported shards increases, theoretically, unlimited TPS can be achieved. Currently, it is the first public chain to support up to 100,000 transactions per second.
