Chives Coin (XCC) is a hard fork created by community volunteers using the open-source code of Chia. As a fully decentralized cryptocurrency with no pre-mine, no ICO, and complete community governance, it is also an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient blockchain system.
The goal of Chives is to create an independent community and a global decentralized payment network, utilizing its own cryptocurrency, known as Chives or XCC, as the primary means of payment. The Chives network supports a token issuance mechanism similar to ERC20 and an NFT issuance mechanism akin to ERC721. Currently, Chives has developed its own Chives Swap exchange for future NFT games, along with a web wallet and a marketplace for selling pets.

Chives is an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient blockchain system. Chives utilizes idle disk space on hard drives to run Proof of Space (PoSpace) and coordinates with another consensus algorithm—Proof of Time (PoTime)—to validate the blockchain.
