DSF stands for Decentralized Social Finance, a distributed social finance chain. DSF is developed based on Ethereum and is positioned as a crucial component of the Ethereum DeFi ecosystem – specifically, a decentralized financial social network. Through its innovative on-chain social contract system, all social relationships between users in DSF are recorded on the blockchain and deeply integrated with various DeFi decentralized financial applications via these contracts. This integration brings revolutionary innovations to the design, promotion, and services of decentralized financial applications. From this perspective, DSF serves as the infrastructure for the next generation of DeFi applications.
DSF boasts a development team of over 100 members, including those from BAT Messenger. Currently, its encrypted social app, Dechat, has hundreds of thousands of users and continues to integrate with the BAT Messenger community, which has millions of users. DSF plans to launch its Staking network and corresponding DeFi applications, including decentralized social lending, decentralized social investment management, decentralized social e-commerce, and decentralized social insurance, in 2020-2021.
