GMK (Golden Monkey) is an initiative started by a Chinese international student in the U.S. along with his friends. It includes staff and volunteers from organizations such as The Nature Conservancy (TNC). GMK was officially launched on May 22, 2021. The student named this project "Golden Monkey" after the many golden monkeys found in his hometown. On the launch day, he invested all of his savings into the liquidity pool, with the dream of spreading the culture of the Golden Monkey worldwide.

GMK features a unique reward and deflationary mechanism, combined with liquidity trading mining characteristics. Specifically, holders of GMK in their wallets earn global transaction dividends according to a locked blockchain smart contract, which is immutable to ensure fair rewards for every holder. This is true decentralized smart contract dividend distribution, with every transaction dividend credited instantly and automatically to the wallet. The more GMK tokens one holds, the higher the interest dividends; the longer they are held, the greater the cumulative dividends, similar to earning interest on fiat currency in a bank account. Whether holding long-term or transferring, trading, or circulating GMK, it generates income. This design is particularly beneficial for personal and family asset allocation, effectively combating wealth erosion due to inflation and achieving steady asset appreciation.
