Huntercoin is a cryptographic digital currency produced by an open-source P2P software combined with human mining. The release date was February 1, 2014, based on blockchain rather than reality. Human mining — controlling Hunters in another dimension to harvest the currency using strategy, time, and teamwork. 1 minute block time. Dual algorithm — SHA256 Scrypt; each algorithm has different difficulty levels, both targeting a 2-minute block time. Both can be merged mined.

Each block yields a total of 10 coins — 1 coin goes to the miner, and 8.75 coins are displayed on the map. Wealth Crown — a unique item on the map that generates 0.25 HUC per block. When a Hunter harvests the currency and brings it back to the incubation area, the currency will appear in their wallet, and the miners receive 10% (tax) of these "stored" coins. When a Hunter is killed, 4% of the currency they hold is taken by the miners. The rest falls to the ground. Miners who mine with hardware should receive a total (over time) of 20% of the block reward (2 coins) as player death tax. The total supply of the currency is 42 million. Based on analysis of the previous 2016 blocks, the difficulty of each block (for different algorithms, analyzed separately) is reconfirmed. It can be considered a basic decentralized P2P MMOCCG structure (Massively Multiplayer Online Cryptocurrency Game) happening on the blockchain. It includes all the relevant features of other cryptocurrencies. Integrated client chat — players of each block can chat. Each players initial cost is 1 HUC — if "entering the world" becomes too expensive and there is consensus, this amount may be adjusted through a hard fork.
