MarbleCards enables digital memories to be captured as encrypted collectibles. Any article, video, or anything with a URL that you like can be turned into an encrypted collectible card known as a MarbleCard. These collectibles are a method of creating and trading unique digital cards based on URLs, with each webpage only able to be MarbleCarded once by a single individual.
MarbleCard cards are based on the ERC721 standard, meaning each URL can only be MarbleCarded once. When you purchase a MarbleCard, you can be sure it is one-of-a-kind. You can save, share, or trade it.
Every MarbleCard has a unique and beautiful pattern that is algorithmically generated when the MarbleCard is created. The pattern is influenced by the content of the MarbleCard web page. Anyone can create a MarbleCard, but once made, it can be auctioned off for a limited time through a Dutch auction. If someone else buys the card during the auction, the person who initiated the auction receives a portion of the proceeds from the transaction.
