The Ontology is a next-generation public foundational blockchain project & distributed trust collaboration platform. Ontology provides a new generation of high-performance public blockchain, including a complete distributed ledger and smart contract support. ONG (Ontology Gas) is the second utility token in the Ontology network, representing usage rights within the network. The operation of Ontology relies on various nodes, and Ontology ensures network stability and security by compensating these nodes with ONG operational fees. ONG serves as compensation for contributions to the network.
