| Coin Intro | "RAY is the native token of RayChain, launched in June 2019, with a total supply of 100,000,000 RAY.
RayChain is a new concept first proposed by Jake Hyunduk Choi in 2013, based on Satoshi Nakamotos Whitepaper Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. It was implemented through Bitcoins core technology the following year. RayChain is a financial transaction ledger that can publicly record personal monetary transmission information. When developed using data blockchain technology and standard web technologies such as HTML, HTTP, RDF, and OWL, computers can share predictive analysis of information.
The three main goals of RAY are: 1) Transition the distribution of cloud services from a global infrastructure operated by a small number of very large service providers to a blockchain-based peer-to-peer infrastructure operated by millions of small individual providers and cloud resource contributors. 2) Simplify the use of professional cloud services for all levels of network users, transforming these services into commodities accessible and usable by the general public. 3) Monetize the new distributed cloud service ecosystem through a dedicated cryptocurrency managed by smart contracts, enabling automatic and reliable payment coordination among all peer cloud service providers. By building simplified cloud service configurations and setups, even novice network users can operate them easily, achieving the first milestone.
In the second phase, RAY plans to contribute to creating a global distributed cloud management grid that allows cloud-based applications to automatically scale across millions of cloud service providers who actually contribute a small portion of their redundant home/office computing resources to become part of the blockchain cloud grid (effectively creating new clouds). And profit from the growing provider revenue. The cloud tokens based on the Ethereum blockchain aim to become the standard currency of the emerging distributed cloud service ecosystem, managing proportional payments based on investment, clearing and distributing economic benefits for the new role of the cloud.
