Tokemak aims to produce deep, sustainable liquidity for DeFi and future tokenized applications. It is the first protocol allowing for transparency and democratization in liquidity provision, with the goal of becoming the primary container where liquidity can flow freely and efficiently across the network.

Tokemak enables control over the direction of liquidity (i.e., which DEXes it flows to) and provides a simpler, cheaper way to supply and access liquidity. Each asset has its own token reactor, where Tokemak’s protocol token, TOKE, is used to direct liquidity. TOKE can be considered tokenized liquidity. When staked in a token reactor for a given asset, TOKE holders not only control where liquidity flows but also dictate which markets receive liquidity.
