VerusCoin is a community project developed under the leadership of Michael J. Toutonghi, a former Microsoft Vice President and Technical Researcher, with no pre-mine and no ICO.
One of the biggest concepts VerusCoin has recently begun publicly testing is its vision of Public Blockchain as a Service (PBaaS), which makes it easy for any individual or organization to define and provide their own blockchain. The Verus Coin PBaaS is currently in public testing on the testnet, offering a functionally decentralized dynamic blockchain ecosystem with cross-chain interoperability. Additionally, PBaaS chains can also benefit from Sapling private transactions, programmable smart transactions, 51% hash attack protection, a CPU-friendly FPGA-balanced hashing algorithm, and other advantages of Verus, Komodo, and Zcash technologies.
