Users have options for using LVN:

(3) Accumulate LVN in their wallet for future use.
Merchants
Merchants who join the Liven platform gain exposure to a relevant and engaged audience. A universal loyalty program helps brick-and-mortar businesses benefit from a larger network, incentivizing users to dine within a complementary business ecosystem since they earn network-exclusive currency as a reward for every transaction. The platform showcases merchants stores free of charge, charging a commission (10% to 40%) on each successful transaction based on the platforms marketing effect, which goes toward:
(1) Incentivizing users and encouraging them to return;
(2) Promoting merchants on the platform;
(3) Sustaining ongoing development and operation of the Liven platform.
User payments to merchants and earned LVN rewards are processed in real-time by the platform. Merchants receive settlements in fiat currency unless they choose to receive LVN directly. Livens existing system automatically generates transaction reports for merchants, who receive regular fiat payouts to their designated bank accounts.
Charities and Non-Profit Organizations
Through Liven, charities can reach affluent potential donors at the most suitable moment to request donations. After a transaction, users can choose to donate all or part of their LVN rewards to non-profit organizations for their use.

Project Economics

As the Liven merchant and user network expands, more markets and users carrying the Liven wallet will have greater opportunities to spend and earn LVN tokens in more markets. Given Livens business nature, more usage of LVN and increased adoption among different user segments increases the likelihood of Liven continuing to operate as a payment platform and reduces the risk of LVN tokens losing key utility in the future. Technical Overview

The Liven platform consists of multiple components, with blockchain forming the foundation. Built atop this is a reward protocol constructed using smart contracts to govern the inflow and outflow of LVN into and out of the rewards pool. Above this is the application programming interface (API) layer, connecting the Liven database and reward protocol with the front-end application and third-party applications. Users, merchants, charities, and partner companies interact directly with the Liven ecosystem through the Liven app and third-party apps. In practice, Liven maintains an internal ledger off the Ethereum blockchain, enabling real-time settlement of in-store and user wallet transactions within the app. The internal ledger is periodically consolidated and written to the main blockchain to reduce transaction fees and avoid slow settlement within the Liven network. When users transfer LVN from their internal wallet to an external wallet or exchange, the transaction is instantly written to the blockchain according to normal Ethereum network settlement times. In the future, we aim to utilize a fully decentralized model without an internal ledger, relying solely on blockchain.
