BL3P is a product of Bitonic, a seasoned Bitcoin company founded in 2012. BL3P is available in all European countries. The BL3P exchange was founded in April 2012, making it the first Bitcoin company in the Netherlands. Back then, a cumbersome process was needed to buy Bitcoin reliably and quickly. BL3P set out to simplify this process: instantaneous Bitcoin purchases through iDEAL were the solution. BL3P has grown to 16 FTEs, has sold over 300,000 Bitcoins, serves tens of thousands of unique customers and offers a variety of services. BL3P is proud to be the first and largest Bitcoin company in the Netherlands!

In addition to instant Bitcoin purchases on BL3P, BL3P has launched various new services. BL3P provides a free way for non-profit organizations to accept Bitcoin donations. Business groups can sign up with Mollie, a Dutch regulated payment service provider. BL3P processes the Bitcoin-to-Euro conversion in the background.

Due to BL3Ps knowledge and experience, BL3P has received many requests for demonstrations, workshops, and training. This led to the next service of Bitonic, the Bitonic Academy. Through the Bitonic Academy, BL3P has transferred knowledge about Bitcoin to many financial institutions (ABN AMRO, SNS Bank, ING Bank, Equens), public institutions (DNB, Tax, Currency, FIOD, High Tech Crime, Public Prosecution) and universities (TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, University of Amsterdam, University of Groningen).
